Spim:          Umm… hello there. Yes, well … WELL! … um, yes – this page. When Spim and I (also a Spim) created these pages (well, actually it was only Spim – I’m a bit of a veruder), we knew lots of other pages that have really interesting things in them. And I mean REALLY interesting things. Not little boring things, but BIG interesting things with little furry animals that run around the bottom and go ‘blurgh’ – that sort of really interesting thing. The problem is that we don’t really like the idea of having ‘A Links Page’, because, let’s face it, that sounds a bit boring. So instead we decided to have a ‘Links Page That Is Not A Links Page’ because that sounds a little better. Isn’t that right, Spim?
Also Spim: Quite so! Spim, and well said, too. Alas, those severely-average pages which always have links to friend's pages...! I think they're just trying to prove they have friends... We need people to think outside the square: create and innovate!
Spim:         Like The (multi-dimensional) Mauve Teacosy! OK, so it's another homepage of a friend...
Also Spim: Yes exactly! Almost. Or "THE SILLIEST GIFT SHOP".
Spim:         You can't buy squares there!
Also Spim: They have everything you could ever wish to buy in two AND three dimensions.
Spim:         Except squares.
Also Spim: They have circles, pentagons, triangles, the whole range of polygons...
Spim:         Except squares. Then, on the other foot, you can always go for the inane. And if you go for the inane, it's always best to go for it in another language. Either try Pip's Translator (where French has never been so fun!); or for the more adventurous Spim inside, try it in hieroglyphics! Just think, if you ever met Tutankhamen in the afterlife but was unable to converse with him, you would still be able to tell him that the weather is clement and his handbag is lovely.
Also Spim: Spim, perhaps I'm pointing out the obvious, but surely Tutankhamen didn't have a handbag. Wouldn't he have had a wallet? And probably a goat too... Goats are quite inanely amusing at this time of year, I hear, and even more so are goat sounds.
Spim:         Yes, indeed, my favourite goat sound comes out of Britney Spears. And my favourite Goat Sound Web Site is the Britney Spears Sucks page.
Also Spim: Now, now, o Spim, retain thy sweet and innocent charm, and leave the nasty stuff to the professionals: the funny folk at Good News Week.
Spim:         Or the brilliant critique of Jon Casimir at Icon, the computer section from the Sydney Morning Herald.
Also Spim: Cunning, cutting yet quirky.
Spim:         A really good source of silly things - Charlotte Harper adds a few gems.
Also Spim: A bit like the Darth Vader Test.
Spim:         How? The test has nothing to do with...
Also Spim: could do.
Spim:        but doesn't.
Also Spim: could do
Spim:        but doesn't
Also Spim: Could do... look, is this going to turn into a Dill Conversation?
Spim:         Mmmm, dill on pasta.
Also Spim: With salmon...
Spim:         Mmmm, but dill. Oh! Dill!
Also Spim: Mmm... Oh Dill. We, as Aquarians, adoreth thee!
Spim:         Anyway, enough about dill. More about aniamls. Take monkeys, for example.
Also Spim: Why?
Spim:         Because.
Also Spim: Why?
Spim:         Because.
Also Spim: Why not ants?
Spim:         Shut up!
Also Spim: OK... *whimper*
Spim:         Anyway, back to monkeys. And on to Monkey Magic.
Also Spim: What's Monkey Magic?
Spim:         My personal favourite part of pop culture. That wonderful Japanese series from the 70's and 80's ("Pigsy, what are you doing?"). For those of you who don't know (it wasn't realeased in the US), it was a kickass series that was dubbed. But that didn't detract from the brilliant theme music and Monkey's pink cloud.
First of all is Monkey!. Then we have Monkey 'Magic'. They're OK, but nothing really comes close to the true beauty of .... Monkey.

And lastly we have the somewhat fluffier the Muppets!. Personally, I love the Muppets - but I'm going through my second childhood. Quite fun. My favourite part of the site is the Swedish Chef Translator. You type something in and then it's translated. The animal instrument is pretty cute too.
Also Spim: Yes, I remember Monkey Magic: quality television, yet distinctly b-grade.
Spim:         Yes, well. I can't think of any more links, so I'll head off now.
Also Spim: Uhhuh, ok. I'll see you later then.
Spim:        Yep. Bye. <Swiftly leaves>
Also Spim: Bye bye! ... Well, I'll just wait ... Here ... For you. Here till you come back. Just here. Waiting...
And now that Spim's pissed off, it is my responsibility to make her pay for such foolish actions by misusing and abusing Wayne, to my best tyrrantial ability. So here's a list of sites I visit regularly, mostly for their guitar tab. These are sites like Young Endeavour photos, Eyolf Ostrem's Dylan Chords, The Comprehensive Bob Dylan Site, Richard Kent's Simon and Garfunkel Tab Collection and Bradford Priddy's Simon etc Site.
